  SEARCH HELP:

1. Forgot my password, now what?
Go to our password reminder form, enter your email, and the reminder/hint that you chose at account signup time, and your password will be emailed to you. Your reminder/hint will be on your initial account confirmation email, if you saved it.

If you can't remember your password reminder, please go to the support form, and tell us your email & web site, and we will get back to you shortly.

2. I still need help, what do I do?
Please go to the support form here or on the left hand navigation bar, and let us know how we can serve you.

3. How many sites may I check with 1000 Link Quota?
You may check as many sites as you like provided your Link Quota does not run out. Each time a site is checked, the number of links, images, frames, etc., tested counts as 1 Link Quota each deducted from your account total. So if you had 4 different sites of 250 links each, you could check all 4 sites once, or 2 sites twice, and so on.

To see how much it would cost to use our service for your site over the course of a year, please see our pricing page.

4. What is included on a site check, are external and internal links tested?
All links on your site like images, anchor tags, frames, backgrounds will be checked, both pointing to pages on your site and pointing to other sites. You may see what links were checked exactly by logging into your account and looking at the REPORT section and clicking ALL links to report on.

5. How do you know that links are really dead with NodeWorks?
Our dead link verification technology is the first to check links multiple times to ensure they are really dead. After finding a failed link on your site, we recheck that link for up to 9 times over 3 day period, each recheck being done every 8 hours.

The number of times a dead link is rechecked is configurable with the DEAD LINK CHECKS setting for each site check.

By checking these links many times, we allow for the possibility of a web site to be temporarily down which might occur if the webmasters of that site are moving their servers to a new physical location or if they are experiencing technical difficulties in general.
